What is SafeRadar?
SafeRadar by Radrly is a Shopify app that adds the EU withdrawal button and a withdrawal flow to a store, with confirmation emails, deadline tracking and audit logs for the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Who it is for
SafeRadar is for Shopify merchants who sell to consumers in the European Union and the EEA. If your customers can buy online from those markets, EU consumer law expects a clear way to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, plus written confirmation and a record of what happened. That obligation applies whether you are a brand, a multi-store operator or a merchant without an in-house legal team. SafeRadar gives the storefront and the admin the tools to run that flow without custom development.
The problem it solves
The Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) gives consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal for most distance contracts. Directive 2023/2673 strengthens the expectation of an easy withdrawal function for online sellers, with wider effect from June 2026. Many Shopify stores still handle those requests over email or chat, with no shared log, no durable confirmation and no deadline view. SafeRadar turns that into a productised flow: a button and form on the storefront, a customer-account action, confirmation emails, a requests inbox and an audit trail.
How it works
- Install SafeRadar from the Shopify App Store and open the Installation page in the admin.
- Add the withdrawal button or embedded form through the theme app extension (Theme Editor), and enable the Withdraw from purchase action for new customer accounts.
- Configure confirmation, approval and rejection email templates, sender details and branding.
- Set the per-shop withdrawal period (14 to 365 days; EU minimum is 14) in Settings.
- Review incoming requests in the Requests log, track deadlines, use Reports, and keep Terms, Privacy Policy and DPA available in the Trust Center.
What sets it apart
- Theme app extension for the storefront withdrawal button and form, not a custom theme fork.
- Withdraw from purchase action in new Shopify customer accounts.
- Confirmation emails treated as a durable medium, plus editable templates.
- Requests log with timestamps and an audit trail of status changes.
- Storefront widget available in all 24 official EU languages.
- Focused on the legal withdrawal flow: it does not replace a returns app for logistics or labels.
